Measures shaking on site
The sensor measures movement in the building itself; it does not wait for data from a distant station or a broadcast over the internet.
The SRD detects shaking in the building it is installed in with its own seismic sensor. The alarm appears in the app, goes out by SMS to registered numbers and is written to the event log with its time. Even with the internet down, the SMS leaves over the mobile line.

The sensor measures movement in the building itself; it does not wait for data from a distant station or a broadcast over the internet.
The alarm stays on after the shaking stops, until you have checked the building and cleared it in the app or with an ALARM SUS text.
The time of the alarm and the state of power and internet at that moment stay in the event log; anything that happened during an outage is sent once the connection is back.
No. Early warning systems use stations near the epicentre and broadcast a warning seconds before the shaking reaches you. The SRD measures shaking in its own building: it warns once the shaking starts, but does not depend on a broadcast or on the internet.
No. The SRD has relay outputs, but shutting off natural gas requires a certified valve that meets the regulations and installation by an authorised company. The SRD is not certified to drive a gas valve; it is used to report shaking.
Up to three numbers you set in the app. The same numbers can ask the device for its status by SMS and silence the alarm.
The device runs on mains power: during a power cut it shows as offline in the app, and when power returns and it starts up it sends an SMS to the registered numbers. To keep it running during an earthquake as well, we recommend a UPS on its supply.
The SRD is in field trials. Tell us about your building or site and we will get back to you with details and a demo.
Tell us about your setup and we will work out which model and which measurements you need.
