GSM relay and remote control: by SMS when there is no internet
Switch the two relays and four 24 V outputs of the SRD from your phone. If the wired network and Wi-Fi go down the device moves to the mobile line; with no internet at all it carries out SMS commands from authorised numbers.

What it gives you
SMS when there is no internet
If the mobile line has no data either, texting ROLE1 AC from an authorised number is enough. Which number sent which command is written to the event log.
Tells you about outages
You get an SMS when the site loses its internet and when it comes back, and when the device starts up again after a power cut. The length of the outage is recorded.

What is the difference between a GSM relay and a Wi-Fi relay?
A Wi-Fi relay only works over the local internet; once the router is off you cannot reach it. The SRD tries the wired network, Wi-Fi and the mobile line in turn, and takes SMS commands when there is no internet at all.
Which numbers can send commands?
Only the up to three numbers you set in the app. An SMS from any other number is not carried out and is logged.
What kind of SIM card do I need?
Any line that can send and receive SMS. SMS commands need no data plan; data is only used to reach the platform when there is no wired network or Wi-Fi.
What happens to the outputs if the connection drops?
You can enable connection-loss protection: if the device cannot reach the server for longer than the time you set, it switches the outputs and relays off and sends an SMS.
